Your child’s photos must meet these specifications:

• They must be 50 mm wide by 70 mm high (2 inches wide by 2¾ inches high).
• The height of your child’s face must measure between 31 mm (1¼ inches) and 36 mm (1⁷⁄₁₆ inches) from chin to crown of head (natural top of head).

Image quality

Your child’s photos may be in colour or in black and white. They must

• be clear, sharp and in focus
• have uniform lighting and no shadows, glare or flash reflections
• show a clear difference between your child’s face and the background
• show your child’s natural skin tone
• be taken in person by a commercial photographer or studio
• be professionally printed on plain, high-quality photographic paper
  • We don’t accept photos that you print at home or photos that are printed on heavy weight paper.

• 加拿大护照照片需要满足以下的规格要求:
  1.护照照片仅在拍摄之日起六个月内有效;
  2.自2015年5月之后，不再接受申请人戴着有色眼镜护照照片;
  3.护照照片必须由商业照相师亲自拍摄;每本护照申请必须提供两张完全相同且未经更改的照片;
  4.必须在纯白色或浅色背景下拍摄照片，背景，面部特征和衣服之间有足够的对比度，以便申请人的特征与背景明显不同;
  5.申请人必须表现出中性的面部表情(不要微笑，嘴巴闭合),直视相机;
  6.照片必须清晰，清晰且对焦。照片必须显示没有任何头罩的完整头部，除非因宗教信仰或医疗原因而佩戴。但是，头罩不得在脸上投下阴影必须清楚地看到全脸;
  7.不能有眩光和阴影。照明必须是均匀以避免脸部或肩部，耳朵周围或背景中的眩光或阴影;8.照片必须显示自然的肤色;
  9.眼睛必须张开，清晰可见。具有红眼效果或红眼改变的照片是不合格的;
  10.可以佩戴治疗性眼镜，只要眼镜可以被清晰看见，眼镜必须没有反射或者炫光;太阳镜和有色眼镜是不合格的;
  11.照片上的脸部长度，即从下巴到头顶（头部自然顶部)的必须介于31毫米(11/4英寸）和36毫米（17/16英寸)之间;
  12.照片尺寸必须为50毫米X70毫米(2英寸宽X 23/4英寸长);
  13.照片必须显示面部和顶部的完整前视图，面部和肩部的图像必须在照片中居中，头部不得向侧面倾斜;
  14.可以接受黑白或彩色照片;
  15.照片必须是原件，而不是从现有照片中再拍摄;
  16.照片必须以普通，高质量的照片打印纸。任何其他的纸张都是不可接受的;
  17.必须直接在其中一张照片的背面提供如下信息，包括:摄影师或摄影工作室的名称，完整的地址--包括街道名称和市政号码邮政编码和照片的拍摄日期等;这些信息应加盖摄影师的印章或摄影师手写;粘贴标签是不可接受的，必须留有足够的空间来填写申请人姓名和担保人签字和担保......
